Wax on, wax off
Ok, first and foremost... my arms are FUCKING BEAT. I felt like a parapalegic when I woke up this morning to shut off the alarm... yeah, that just didn't work =)
Went to bubb's last night to finally start the bodywork on roxy.
Here are the obligitory "before" shots for all of posterity. They will also show a good record for me if this whole thing turns into a clusterfuck as I once had a nice car before all of this haha

(special thanks to the champagne of all beers on the roof for getting me through the night...)

Then bubba raised up his coils a few turns so he wouldn't keep ripping his fenders off *winks*

Then we got to business once everyone had left for the evening.
He started with 500 wet sanding grit. Wrap the paper around a few paint sticks so you haver a flat sanding surface or you can use a flexible sanding wedge that is similiar to a bondo spreader. Now, the key is to never use your fingers but instead use the butt of the base of your fingers so you don't get trails.
Don't press hard here and ALWAYS keep everything wet. The key here is to make the paint look like flat paint with no clearcoat. The white residue on the car is ALL clearcoat and that's what yer trying to get rid of.

Just to prove that I do my own work too. Plus I like my shorts so if you have a problem, you can eat my arse. I tried to get new shorts this past weekend but I was so excited in purchasing new gear, I got the wrong size. Bygones... hahaha

It started to get dark so I called it quits for the night as I couldn't really see what I was doing anymore. But looking at Roxy makes it all worth while... WHO'S A PRETTY GIRL!?
