Well, we're back
*** editors note: if you want the full story, go here.***
The adventure started out at 5:18am Friday morning. I told the steppop that we would be outside at 5:30, ready to be dropped off at the airport. Luckily the alarm didn't go off and we had 12 minutes to pack and be out the door. Off to a good start.
We got to the airport on time and caught our flight with no issues. We got into Tampa around 9am ish...

After lounging around the pool as any vacationer would do, I wanted to pick up the baby so we all hopped into the rental Camry (110hp TOPS) and made the 45 mile trip out to Sarasota to Brad's shop; 1552v2.

With boost gauge in hand, I was itching out of my skin to see the car.

Saw this lil beauty actually doing some work as it was intended along the way.

We got there and I was floored when I finally saw Roxy after her being gone for close to 2 months =)

Brad and I standing around thinking about life and stuff.

Man it was great to get her back.

The sun was shining...

The air was warm...

it was a good day.

So the weekend went well but it was finally time to get going back home Sunday morning. We left at a very overcast and cool 9am hour and started the 2 hour trip east to Orlando. We just had to get some pics in at the beach before we left though:

The trip to orlando was fun and I finally got to beat on Roxy a bit. As we were nearing our destination, Kate was kind enough to find a Krystal all of 2 miles away from the station. I love that woman...

Corndogs are still awesome?

I think so...

Yep, still awesome =)

Sanford Florida: Home of the Amtrak Autotrain. (And not much else.)

Old people looooove the autotrain btw.

Like expensive sardines.

Then Kate started giggling...

Oh COME ON dude.

We got on the train and sat down, after 2 hours we got REALLY bored so we explored the cars and found a cool lil window to peep out of and think about life...

Ok, not really think about life but simply try to grasp at how exhausted we were after the weekend's festivities...

Dinner was what you would expect on a train (blegh).

But we made the best of it none the less...

And after a shitty nights sleep in the middle of 14 thousand snoring elderly people, we finally have our lil' one home, safe and sound.
